How long do I have to appeal?

In most Utah civil cases the notice of appeal is due 30 days after entry of final judgment. That deadline is jurisdictional — miss it and the appeal is gone.

Can I raise new arguments on appeal?

Generally no. Appellate courts review what was preserved below, which is why we review the trial record before taking a case.

Do you take appeals from other firms' trials?

Yes. We regularly step in after trial to handle post-judgment motions and the appeal itself.
